Great To See Old Friends!

Kyle Schindler Lands Himself An 18th Birthday Present!

Dan Schindler made his way back to The Cedars Lodge to celebrate the 18th birthday and high school graduation of his son, Kyle. It had been almost six years since Dan’s last trip and it was great to see an old friend and to show him and his son all of the great fishing he had missed by skipping the last few years! It didn’t take Dan long to remember how to reel in the fish, as he and Kyle spent five days finding kings, silvers, pinks, and halibut. Dan sent us a nice note and these picture after getting home. His note read in part, “I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and let you know Kyle and I had a great time. Rod, Linnie, Syd and the gang were great. Your group really made us feel like family. (Charter captain) Shane was confident, chatty, optimistic and exerted much effort. His boat was really tidy too. Shane is five star all the way. Please let both Shane and Rod know how appreciative we are. You are so blessed to have such a fantastic bunch associated with your lodges. From your shuttle drivers, through the fish processors. Kyle and I look forward to seeing you again soon.”
It was great to see Dan again and get to meet Kyle. Something tells us it won’t take them six more years to find their way back again!
