We got a call on Tuesday morning saying there were some killer whales making their way through our fishing grounds. We got out in the boat in time to catch them swimming by on their way north. There must have been over 100 killer whales of all sizes, in small pods of two up to about ten or twelve. We were able to get about a mile and half ahead of them and then went dead in the water and caught these photos as the whales passed us by.
