If you choose a self-guided trip, you become the captain of your own charter boat. The cold, plankton-filled waters surrounding our lodges are full of five species of Pacific salmon, halibut, sea bass, cod, red snapper and other delicious bottom fish.

You can hike miles of hiking trails surrounding the city or canoe and kayak in the waters enveloping the charming town. Ketchikan is full of historic sites, from Dolly’s House Museum, a former brothel, to the displays of totem poles at places like Saxman Village, Totem Bight State Historical Park and the Southeast Alaska Discovery Center.
