Instead of working, a bunch of kids are checking out the blog and love it! Thank you so much to Sean, Jerry, and Ron, plus Clover Pass, SEAGO, Tongass and Alaska Sportsfishing Expiditions, from the middle school kids at KCS. We had a great time and we can’t wait to get out again. It’s unanimous, it was the best day of school all year.

Hi Russell! Deb Anderson passed along your link to me and I just want to commend you on not only holding this derby which, certainly, will be a life’s highlight for the participating ladies and will benefit some great charities but for also putting together a great event. I can tell it’s very well organized. I like that you are keeping the ladies busy with all things fishing, too, in a variety of ways. Of course, Louise and Misty are favorites of mine. I was remembering when Louise was an extremely shy teenager….but just look at her now! The poster is great; the information is well disseminated; even non-fishing ladies may well be tempted to attend. Congratulations on all that you are doing! …Best, Lois
