Meet our Freshwater Fishing Guide And Saltwater Skippers

The Cedars Lodge unique arrangement with local charter fishermen and freshwater fishing guides guarantees our guests the most able and skilled guides in the business. Freshwater fishermen have the option of targeting a different type of fish each day they fly out. Weather permitting, saltwater anglers target both salmon and halibut each day.

After graduating from Western, Rick enrolled at Eastern Washington University where he earned a B.A. in Biology Education. During his college years, Rick returned to Ketchikan every summer to commercial fish for salmon, halibut, and black cod.
